I adore little silhouette pictures. Just look at that bunny! They seem to be harder to find; at least within my budget. SO, I was so happy to find this yesterday at the antique show after helping my friend Karen set up her space. Beth from Gathering Dust was there too with all of her goodies.
Don't forget! Tonight at midnight is the deadline to comment for the GIVEAWAY that I will announce tomorrow!
Think the news of my Giveaway might have gotten lost below all those gluebook pages in my last blog!
I have added a bit of ephemera to the stash of love to go to one of my readers. This is to celebrate my 3 month anniversary of blogging. SO, leave a comment by midnight Saturday on what you like about my blog and have an opportunity to win.
(Silly Grammy! I loaded these pictures backwards, so the beginning is at the bottom)
Used this 1940s Junior Crossword book to make a gluebook all about children. I took out about half the pages (saved for other projects) and left parts of the remaining pages showing. Love how some childs' penciled in letters show.
Saturday will be the 3 month anniversary of my blogs' birth. To celebrate how glad I am to have found my place in blogland, I will gift someone with a small stash of love----- Bookmark, 3 Bunny Dominoes and a sweet collage, all made by me and a card of beautiful dyed pearl buttons. Please leave a comment by Sept 12, midnight, telling me what you like best about my blog. OR, if you do not like to leave comments, e-mail me at grammylkk@gmail.com. My husband will randomly choose a name and I will announce on Sunday morning.
Finished one of the pieces..........call it EVER HOPEFUL...........Used mat board Mod Podged with sheet music, then a real post card, which I antiqued around just a bit. Printed off the title and added it with some lace underneath. Stamped a couple times. Added some trims.
Ok, back to working on the Childens' GlueBook.............
