Love Those Old Game Boards

Instead of just leaving all my old board games stored away, I put the boards on the wall of the basement where our grandkids play. If we want to play one of them, we just take it down. I use big push pins to secure them outside the edges of the board. Some of these are getting old. "Emergency" has been played with to pieces with both our son and grandson. And, there is a larger pic of "Mighty Mouse", one of my fave cartoon shows in the 50s.

What old board games do you have tucked away?

I have a whole trunk full of old games... even Password and Chutes and Ladders. I told you I can't part with anything... lol I have been known to buy a duplicate and paint and/or collage on them.. fun! I love your idea... encourages family time. :o)

    Have fun!

  2. Well what do you know. this is such a cute idea too! At my consignment store these are always 2-3 dollars each so that would be a cheap way to decorate.

The kids and i hang out all day long. If they are outside riding bikes then i'm tying my tags. I'm always doing something crafty. They know that's just mom.
i live really close to Saint louis. a couple exits away:)

  3. Dang this is so clever. I'm in the middle of putting stuff on the walls of my studio. I think it will look cool to add one or two game boards in the mix.
