(Silly Grammy! I loaded these pictures backwards, so the beginning is at the bottom)
Used this 1940s Junior Crossword book to make a gluebook all about children. I took out about half the pages (saved for other projects) and left parts of the remaining pages showing. Love how some childs' penciled in letters show.

Saturday will be the 3 month anniversary of my blogs' birth. To celebrate how glad I am to have found my place in blogland, I will gift someone with a small stash of love----- Bookmark, 3 Bunny Dominoes and a sweet collage, all made by me and a card of beautiful dyed pearl buttons. Please leave a comment by Sept 12, midnight, telling me what you like best about my blog. OR, if you do not like to leave comments, e-mail me at grammylkk@gmail.com. My husband will randomly choose a name and I will announce on Sunday morning.
A gluebook with vintage stuff- what a great idea and way to keep all the cute stuff together. I think I'm going to borrow that idea if you dont' mind!
ReplyDeleteLinda, your gluebook is great. What a neat book to alter! I liked what you did with the cigar bands too. I'm really enjoying your blog. Sally

ReplyDeleteHey Linda! What do I like best about your blog? Well, in addition to your bookmarks, bunny dominoes, carded buttons, gluebooks, favorite words (where did they go?), quotes, and images, I just love to observe the way you think so creatively and put your ideas together in unique and beautiful ways. Love you and miss you, Dianne in Indiana

I am amazed how your creative mind works in puting together a glue book such as this, but then I have always been amazed by all of your creative works. Keep on keeping on.
