GOOD JUJU in Kansas City; Urban Mining Too
Friday was gloriously spent with my dear friend Karen out junkin' around. If you are near Kansas City on the first Friday weekend of the month, ya gotta get to Good Juju.In a great old building downtown, it is a fabulous combination of vintage creations and furnishings with art and whimsey thrown in. Repurposed, refurbished and just plain fun! And, most of the prices are good too. Here are some of my finds: A wonderful old very tall red stool for just 8 bucks! Cigar bands to whip up something ala Cathe at Just Something I Made
Also another sweet little ceramic shoe, my 3rd now for my collection. Love the crazing on it. Sweet little old packages of birthday candles and a cool bingo card.
After that, we were off a little further uptown to Urban Mining They are also only open the first Friday weekend of the month. Found these little cups and a great medical diary calender book. And just look at the darling image inside the cup. Too sweet~~~
Not much money spent, but a terrific day of inspiration and giving a new home to a few little treasures

What a cool place. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteHow fun that looks! Love your little shoe colllection (since I used to be a shoe buyer for Nordstrom), it looks so sweet. Love the old cigar bands for collage, and especially your red stool, how cute!
Thanks for sharing it all, have a great holiday weekend!
Gail
That place looks wonderful! Suzie. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like such a fun day! What great finds you got too!
ReplyDeleteOkay now.. that sounds like a great/fun day. The cigar labels... OOOoooo!
ReplyDeleteFun post Linda! I have a bunch of cigar bands in my crafting stash. Waiting to be "repurposed". I love the ceramic baby shoe. I have one of those cute little tea cups too! It's just like your pink one, only mine is pastel green on the outside. Do you know anything about them?
